Matthew D. Storer became the President of VisionTrust International, Inc. in April of 2004 after a 14 year career in the technology industry, the last 8 years with Microsoft Corporation. More recently, Mr. Storer became the President and CEO of VisionTrust.
Because there are millions of children who are hurting from disease and hunger, do not have access to an education, and have not heard the message of the Gospel, Mr. Storer has committed his time to investing in their education, health and spiritual discipleship. He also believes that this difficult and complex work can only be done with God’s help and by partnering with passionate people around the world. VisionTrust International currently operates in 16 countries and helps over 12,500 children around the world.
Prior to joining VisionTrust full-time, Mr. Storer was an active member of the Board of Directors for 4 years. Mr. Storer received his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Systems Analysis from Taylor University and his postgraduate Masters degree in Business Administration from Averett University. In addition to his duties at VisionTrust International, Mr. Storer also serves voluntarily as the Chairman of the Board for the Christian Alliance for Orphans; as Chairman of the Board for Food for Orphans; and is a trustee for Housing Services Alliance.
Mr. Storer has been married to Cheryl for 21 years and together, they have four children, live in Colorado Springs, Colorado and attend Woodman Valley Chapel.
