A devoted transitional age foster youth advocate; Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Teen Leadership Foundation (TLF). TLF is an Orange County-based nonprofit which operates through-out Southern California and the Pacific Northwest.
TLF was birthed from the awareness of statistics of aging out foster youth. In 2007; Lisa traded in a life of worldly success as an executive in the apparel and textile industry for a life of living surrendered to standing in the gap for those impacted by abuse and neglect.
Lisa leads a board of directors in developing and implementing innovative programs that empower young foster teenagers to take action to improve life prior to emancipation from the foster care system. Under her leadership, TLF has developed powerful partnerships with Government , Faith and Community based organizatinos to help implement TLF programs. In the past 5 years more than 2, 000 youth have completed TLF’s camp program and hundreds are connected with long term mentors.
As a guest speaker Lisa tackles difficult issues on behalf of foster teenagers. A graduate of Indiana University majoring in Communications Lisa resides in Newport Beach, Ca.
