Crossroads Church, Director of Kids' Club and Student Ministry

Mom of 5. Two daughters were adopted as older children (10 and 15). Also leads kids and student ministry at fastest growing (Outreach Mag) church and 9th largest church in US. Realizing parents feel very alone while parenting kids with unique challenges, started support groups for adoptive and foster parents at church. Over 600 parents participate in a number of groups. Thru volunteer training, Crossroads is now known as place for kids who may not fit in or be welcome elsewhere.

I’m free 🙂 I can travel some, but prefer within a few hours of Cincinnati. I live in Northern KY.

Caring for the fatherless thru the church and supporting parents; Audience can be either the local church or parents; For churches, focus is on welcoming and caring for kids from hard places and their parents by training volunteers.

Previous Speaking

Kim Video 1 (starts at 12 minutes): This was first time sharing story to whole church. Through this, the adoption/foster parent support group was started as so many families came up after service saying how alone and isolated they were. This was several years ago – so the content has changed over years and focuses more on practical ideas for parents and kids, as well as churches.
