Born and raised in Michigan, accept Christ as a youth attending Vacation Bible School. Attended Liberty University, earning a B.S. Degree in Finance and Economics, went on to Western Michigan University earning an MBA.

Adopted our youngest daughter from China in 2005, returned to China with entire family in 2008 serving as CFO for a global non-profit, while Jenny, my wife, served as Executive Director of International Committee for Chinese Orphans. We returned to the U.S. in 2012 to join VisionTrust International’s team, which serves the worlds neediest orphans and other children at risk.
