Paul Pennington

Co-Founder and Executive Director - Hope for Orphans

Paul and his wife, Robin, co-founded Hope for Orphans in 2002, before merging with FamilyLife in 2003 where he serves as Executive Director. Paul led in the birth of both the Summit and the formation of the Christian Alliance for Orphans, where he served as a board member until 2011. He is the co-author of the book Launching an Orphans Ministry in Your Church and a co-host of the If You Were Mine DVD Adoption Workshop both published by FamilyLife Publishing. Paul also helped to lead the development of the of the Cry of the Orphan campaign – a joint orphan awareness media campaign led by Hope for Orphans, Focus on the Family and Show Hope.

He speaks nationally and internationally on Gospel-Centric Orphan Ministry and adoption and is a frequent guest on the national radio program FamilyLife Today. Paul and Robin have been married for 34 years and have six children and 11 grandchildren. Five of their children and three of their grandchildren came to them through adoption. They currently live outside of Austin, Texas.
